it is disappointing, but i have just been told that LONDINIUM R will not be shipping until Tuesday, after the Easter break
the machines are now completed, but i am told there is a backlog in the testing facility
im not overly impressed, and im sure the incessant delays are trying your patience too
the first machines out will be oldest orders first, being; the order for the two ANZAC machines, an EU machine, and a UK machine
kind regards

today the sample arrived. the design is perfect in terms of its effectiveness, but we have some refinements to make before we place it in production
tomorrow i will take a video to show you how these two items will transform the quality of the espresso you make, however good your grinder is
i have finally got around to doing something that has been on the to-do list for far too long
with kelsey's help i have re-ordered the forum, hopefully with a view to making it faster for you to find the information you require
specifically we have removed a layer from the structure to flatten it, which improves navigation i think
secondly whilst i am keen to provide an area for owners to discuss modifications and ideas for their machines, and even off topic posts if they wish, i was concerned that these posts did not make it more difficult for owners to quickly find answers to any issues they may be trying to resolve. as a result we have created a new section of the forum called modifications and ideas
i hope you will find these small changes make the forum significantly eaiser for you to navigate
as always, you still need to be logged in as a mahine owner in order to see the permanent file
in the near future i will be placing increased emphasis on the londinium beans and londinium extract sections of the forum as we introduct the final pieces of the londinium espresso system which will allow complete beginners to espresso to pull a shot that tastes better than their local cafe with the support of the information and techniques on this website

The image doesnt do the place justice, but we had a great weekend in Northland, New Zealand. If you ever come to New Zealand as a LONDINIUM owner let me know in advance and i will take a few days out to show you around some top spots. If you are into sportfishing then I am more than happy to take you saltwater or fly fishing. If you like the outdoors i think it would be difficult not to enjoy yourself in New Zealand
and this is the sub set of the build that are not as close to completion.
This is a photo of the LONDINIUM R build taken at 09:36 Monday 10 April
As you can see these machines are almost complete, i have been advised that a Weds-Thurs despatch this week is to be expected, which is disappointing as i had hoped to be booking some machines out right now
This is a cut & paste of the text that the manufacturer sent with the above image:
"They have been on since last Monday and have not at any point been pulled off the buildline. Once the first lot are tested tomorrow I'd anticipate first ones coming though for despatch on Wednesday which is nearing end of week as it's Easter"
There are some additional machines, which i am going to post an image of in my very next blog entry which are not as complete and i expect these ones will not be ready to despatch this week, if i am being realistic about the messages i am giving
As to whose order related to which set of machines i do not have that information
i am going to get a new fitting made up one that gets you to 3/8" US compression fitting thread so North American customers can connect directly to it with braided pressure hose that they can buy at their local hardware store in any length they need with US compression fittings already fitted; plug & play
apologies for taking so long to get these details ironed out

two primary responses;
1. a permanent second shift is being introduced to the factory, but this takes time to implement in a smooth and orderly fashion
2. a third production line is being built
