De-Solv-it

i have posted about this product before, but im doing it again as i am astounded at how good it is for dissolving silicone grease, which i find a challenge to dissolve even with white spirits or acetone

i think this citrus solvent is just as effective as what seem to be much harsher alternatives; it is certainly more pleasant to use

depending on your perspective the IMS 35µM has a built in auto clean feature; when it needs a clean it will pop off

how so?  because the holes in the mesh are so fine that as soon as any significant proportion of the holes become obstructed the screen will be forced off by the water pressure that results from a semi-obstructed mesh

so if your 35µM screen pops off dont curse it and try and force it back onto the group even harder and then become even more frustrated when it pops off again a short time later: it is telling you that it needs a clean

if of course you prefer not to be reminded that your machine needs a clean, then stick with the stock screen that we supply with the machine that has a coarser mesh and you will not be troubled in this way

i strongly recommend using a citrus cleaner as it is surprisingly effective alternative and i believe they are globally distributed as they have been around for decades but have never really managed to breach the strangle hold of the petrochemical cleaning products that dominate the market
