2017 londinium lever espresso machine offering

My last task for 2016 is the most pleasant; to announce the 2017 londinium lever espresso machine range

Two years and what at times seemed to be a death by one thousand cuts has finally produced the LONDINIUM R, which takes the LONDINIUM I and adds a rotary pump, a cold fed heat exchanger, and adjustable pre-infusion pressure.  The external appearance and dimensions of the machine are unchanged

As a result the price has risen from GBP1650 to GBP1900.  However it is important to keep a sense of perspective.  On 23DEC2015 GBP1650 was worth USD2452.  On 23DEC2016 GBP1900 is worth USD2332.  That's right, the LONDINIUM R will cost buyers less in USD than a LONDINIUM I cost them this time last year

Its much the same story for customers buying with Australian dollar, the New Zealand dollar, and the Euro.  On 23DEC2015 GBP1650 was worth AUD3396.  On 23DEC2016 GBP1900 is worth AUD3244.

If it's such a good idea, why didnt you do it sooner i hear you ask?  Simple, a rotary pump small enough to fit into the space available did not exist before now

The introduction of a rotary pump has allowed us to align the architecture of the LONDINIUM R to that of the LONDINIUM II and III

In raising the performance of the LONDINIUM R and aligning its architecture to the LONDINIUM II and LONDINIUM III it provides a clearer grouping of our commerical machines, premium plug & play LONDINIUM R, and the compact lever espresso machine range that is currently under development (with a projected release date of 1 January 2018)

I have attached a table to this post to summarise the changes in the hope that they will be easier to comprehend

As a result of the above changes we have taken the opportunity to truncate the name of the LONDINIUM I - P to LONDINIUM I, which is more logical and easier to understand as it belongs with the LONDINIUM II and LONDINIUM III

We are now accepting orders for the first batch of LONDINIUM R which will be built in the second week of January 2017

Merry Christmas!
