Swissgold permanent coffee filters
In our ignorance we happily used a paper filter for years. Then we found Swissgold permanent filters.
Proudly made in Switzerland, the quality of this product is self-evident the moment you taste the coffee that flows from it. Unlike a paper filter, the Swissgold filter does not absorb any of the lipids and prevent them from flowing into your cup. Why is this important? Well the lipids contain most of a coffee’s flavour. Unlike methods of preparation where your coffee comes into contact with aluminium or stainless steel, the Swissgold filter will not taint your coffee as it is plated with 10 microns of 24 carat gold.
For a very modest outlay a Swissgold filter will take your appreciation of coffee to a new level. The exceptionally clean taste has to be experienced to be believed.
The KF300 model makes a single cup of coffee.
The KF4 model replaces the paper filter in automatic drip coffee machines, making up to 12 cups.
If you are considering the KF4 model please check against the sizing provided below to ensure that it will fit your machine. The diameter of the top of cone = 120mm. The cone height = 90mm.
The filter is also supplied with an optional collar to adapt the cone for use in larger filter holders, making the Swissgold filter approximately 15mm higher. The most important measurement to check is that you have more than 90mm depth in your filter holder.
When brewing more than 8 cups of coffee ensure you use coffee of a medium grind (too fine a grind will prevent the water from traveling through the coffee, causing it to dam and then flood over the top of the filter)

Every bag of Londinium coffee declares the roast date.
To enjoy our coffee at its optimum we recommend that you do not open the bag for 7-10 days after the roast date.
This works well for our international customers as the coffee improves on the journey, arriving in places as far away as New Zealand 7-10 days after roasting in peak condition.
If you are looking for a particular coffee get in touch & we will endeavour to locate it for you.
