Well, we have to declare that we are not huge fans of Yirgacheffe, although we have become more accustomed to its distinctive taste with time. What does our Yirgacheffe offering taste like? We consistently note brown sugar with tea-like tannins and floral notes dancing lightly on top. We’ve decided to roast it much lighter than previously, as we have become more accustomed to the taste of this coffee. This coffee has many spicy notes thrown in, but we really don’t think it suits milk now that we are roasting so much lighter – the spicy and floral notes really fight with the milk. If you like your coffee to taste a little bit like tea you’ll love this coffee.
