Bespoke Coffee Roasters
El Salvador La Esperanza estate, bourbon
£6.00 - £24.00
Grade: SHG (strictly high grown). That is to say, grown higher than 4500ft above sea level
This single estate coffee from El Salvador expresses its acidity with a wonderful jaffa taste (chocolate & orange) that combines with milk fat to make a wonderfully exotic cappuccino as a result of the cirtus orange notes that are easily identifiable in the cup
Finca La Esperanza has been producing coffee in El Salvador since the 1850. The plantation is part of a biological corridor stretching from Mexico to Panama, 25 hectares of which are growing this bourbon variety
We don't consider this coffee suitable for espresso, but if you follow the current fashion for very 'bright' espresso (a la Cup of Excellence coffees deployed as espresso) then feel free to disagree & order this coffee for your espresso needs
We like our espresso to be smooth & delicate on the whole, and this coffee certainly sits outside that criteria, with the bite of a freshly squeezed orange
SELECT QUANTITY
We ship worldwide at cost.
Every bag of Londinium coffee declares the roast date.
To enjoy our coffee at its optimum we recommend that you do not open the bag for 7-10 days after the roast date.
This works well for our international customers as the coffee improves on the journey, arriving in places as far away as New Zealand 7-10 days after roasting in peak condition.
If you are looking for a particular coffee get in touch & we will endeavour to locate it for you.
