This coffee makes a very rich smooth espresso. A rich lingering aftertaste allows you to enjoy it long after your cup is empty. This is not a taste we tired of quickly – we drank cup after cup all weekend and didn’t grow weary of it. This is not a single estate or micro lot coffee, and we make no apologies for that. For whatever reason this shipment roasts up to give you a first class espresso. We readily agree it tastes a little bland and one-dimensional if you drink cappuccino or latte – still much better than most, but not the optimum way to enjoy this coffee. As an espresso this coffee is hard to beat if you like a rich full caramel taste without any bright notes.

To enjoy our coffee at its optimum we recommend that you do not open the bag for 7-10 days after the roast date.

This works well for our international customers as the coffee improves on the journey, arriving in places as far away as New Zealand 7-10 days after roasting in peak condition.
